Devine Ozigbo knows how good it feels.

So many times last year, Nebraska found itself on the short end of the stick. Losing so many games in a gut-wrenching fashion made the Huskers’ win over Oregon even more enjoyable.

Ozigbo sat down with BTN on Monday to explain Saturday’s win over the Ducks.

Saturday’s win marked the first time Nebraska defeated a ranked non-conference opponent since 2011. That year, the Huskers finished the year 9-4 and played in the Citrus Bowl.

Ozigbo was instrumental in the win last weekend, toting the ball 21 times for 95 yards and a TD. The sophomore has 242 yards and four TDs on the season.

The victory gives the Huskers a much-needed boost heading into the conference season, which begins next week when they travel to Evanston to play Northwestern. After Iowa’s loss to North Dakota State, Nebraska is alive and well in the hunt for the B1G West title.
