Talk about heartbreak.
Nebraska held a 17-0 advantage over Colorado at halftime in a road game. It looked like this was Nebraska’s game to lose. And it found a way to gift the game to the Buffaloes.
Colorado was able to finally get into a rhythm offensively, scoring enough points to send the game into overtime at 31-31 with an explosive second half. And the Buffaloes found a way to squeak this one out.
James Stefanou nailed a 34-yard field goal attempt to give the Buffaloes a 34-31 after the team’s first offensive series. Nebraska then had an opportunity to win or tie, but Isaac Armstrong’s 48-yard attempt was way off the mark.
