You never want to be in Nick Saban’s way before the start of a game. One ESPN camera guy learned that lesson the hard way.

Prior to Saturday’s kickoff between Alabama and Duke in Atlanta, Saban was leading his team onto the field slowly before sprinting to the sideline. One ESPN camera man was a little too close, though, and Saban had no trouble plowing right over him.

A video of the incident was captured by Alex Byington and posted to Twitter:

To be fair, it looks like the camera guy didn’t expect Saban’s cheetah-like speed and lost his balance while he was backpedaling. It’s not like the Alabama coach bull-rushed him like a linebacker.

Nonetheless, it provided a pretty entertaining moment in Atlanta. It will also serve as a reminder to camera guys in the future — never get too close to Saban and the Crimson Tide before kickoff.
