It’s finally bowl season.
Big Ten teams don’t start competing in the postseason until Dec. 26 when Minnesota takes on Georgia Tech, but the final games for many are just beginning. In a couple weeks, the CFB Playoff, which features No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 4 Oklahoma will take place.
All will be watching. That’s the ultimate goal: the CFB Playoff.
A constant debate is whether or not the 4-team playoff should be expanded. Fighting Irish coach Brian Kelly — who again, is competing in the playoff this season — is in favor of expansion:

As it stands, there will always at least be one of the Power 5 conferences not represented in the playoff. Some years, it’s more. Especially when teams like Notre Dame get in, or a conference shows that 2 teams are deserving to make it.
The Fighting Irish are certainly different when it comes to teams not in Power 5 conferences that actually have a chance at making the playoff, but still, Kelly advocating for expansion even when his team makes it in says something.
