Now that Justin Jackson is Northwestern’s all-time leading rusher, he’s finding new ways to make an impact on the field.
Tied 10-10 with Michigan State in the fourth quarter, Northwestern decided to dial up a trick play to try and get into the end zone and take a touchdown advantage on the 15th-ranked Spartans in Evanston.
After Jackson took a handoff, he ran to the right side of the field but looked to the end zone, trying to find an open receiver. He delivered a beautiful pass to Bennett Skowronek for the 12-yard touchdown to go ahead 17-10.

Jackson really can do just about everything on the field.
That was the first passing touchdown of Jackson’s career but was his seventh total touchdown of the 2017 season.
