Ohio State may have just dropped the best hype video ever.

The Buckeyes entered Wednesday’s early signing period now under the guidance of new head coach Ryan Day. Day is taking over for Urban Meyer as Meyer is set to retire after the Rose Bowl game.

It is quite literally a passing of the torch at OSU, and Ohio State’s hype video played off of that story line. The first part of the video featured Buckeyes highlights in video game mode.

Fans of EA Sports’ NCAA Football will love the footage, along with Ohio State titling the video “Dynasty Mode,” a popular feature within the game. Unfortunately, the last edition of the game was released in 2013.

Regardless, the ending to the hype video is what Buckeye fans will absolutely love. Day and Meyer are seen on screen discussing the state of the team before Meyer passes off a video game controller to the new head coach, all while telling Day “Your turn, brother.”

Yeah, Ohio State hit a home run with this video:

As for the recruiting? Day has kept things rolling right along as the early signing period kicked off. Zach Harrison, the top player out of Ohio and No. 4 prospect in the nation, signed with the Buckeyes Wednesday. He leads a 2019 class that is currently ranked No. 12 in the nation by 247 Sports.
