WATCH: Ohio State opens scoring with TD strike to Chris Olave

There’s a long ways to go to get a win, but Ohio State raced to a 7-0 lead out of the gate!
The Buckeyes secured a stop on defense during Michigan’s first possession with the ball. While the Wolverines will look to establish a steady ground game, Ohio State did a good job of forcing an early punt.
After a solid punt return, the Buckeyes set up with good field position. It didn’t take long for that to pay off as Dwayne Haskins connected with Chris Olave for a 24-yard strike.
It was a short crossing route on 3rd-and-four that Olave took down the sideline and past the defense for the game’s first points:
