Wide receivers do a lot more than catch passes. Every now and then, they’ll deliver some pretty brutal blocks.
That’s exactly what happened for Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb in the Orange Bowl. The Sooner squared up and absolutely destroyed Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson.
This block from Lamb was painful to watch. But the Oklahoma receiver was fired up after delivering that hit.

That’s a hit that’ll be replayed over and over again. The block might actually be even better than any catch Lamb has made this season. And it came on the biggest stage.
Things didn’t quite go as planned for Oklahoma in the first half, but Lamb will certainly remember laying the lumber on the Alabama linebacker.
