WATCH: P.J. Fleck enlists help of Navy SEAL Veteran for special scholarship announcement

There’s nothing better than seeing a hard-working player finally earn a scholarship.

When it comes to Minnesota coach P.J. Fleck, he definitely found an awesome way to make the announcement special for LB Bailey Schoenfelder. Fleck shared a video of the announcement on his personal Twitter account Friday morning. Needless to say, it is awesome.

Navy SEAL Veteran Brent Gleeson can be seen speaking to the team in the first part of the video, but it is what happens when the team is on the field that steals the show. Two parachuters are seen landing on the field and handing a sealed envelope to Fleck. He then enlists the help of Gophers TE Ko Kieft and Gleeson to share the contents of the envelope with the team:

Fleck congratulated Schoenfelder in another tweet, praising his “heart work and determination”:

Schoenfelder redshirted in 2016 before seeing action in nine games last season as a member of the special teams unit.
