DeAndre Thompkins just wants his name mentioned in the Heisman conversation with Trace McSorley and Saquon Barkley.
Midway through the first quarter, the junior receiver was back to field an Akron punt. Once he caught the ball, Thompkins put on a few moves and skated his way to the end zone for Penn State’s first touchdown of the 2017 season:

He really made that look easy.
Thompkins had 27 receptions for 440 yards and a touchdown last year, but fielded just one punt for two yards. But Penn State has likely found its new punt returner for this fall.
