Josh Reaves threw down one of the most ferocious dunks of the B1G season, and it came over one of the tallest players in the conference.
During Penn State’s visit to Purdue on Saturday afternoon, Reaves found himself on a fast break with only 7-foot-3 center Matt Haarms chasing him down. Reaves elevated and threw down a huge one-handed slam over the seven-footer.
It’s going to be a play that’s shown repeatedly on the highlights over the weekend:

As you can imagine, that slam really quieted the Mackey Arena crowd.
Unfortunately for Penn State, Reaves’ big dunk didn’t lead to a Nittany Lions victory. Purdue recorded a 76-64 win.
Reaves finished with seven points.
