Speed and elusiveness.
Those are characteristics that a lot of recent Penn State running backs possessed. Saquon Barkley had it. Miles Sanders had it. Ricky Slade has showed it. And just recently, Journey Brown showcased his skills, too.
During BTN’s bus tour, the crew was able to capture Brown in action, making a few sizzling moves that left potential tacklers whiffing. It was a flashback to some of the highlights Barkley and Sanders provided during their PSU careers.

Brown will be a member of a loaded running back room at Penn State that includes Slade, Noah Cain and Devyn Ford, among others. If he can bring those moves to the field on Saturdays, he’ll take plenty of carries in the fall.

Last season, Brown appeared in nine games, taking eight handoffs for 44 yards and a touchdown. He also had one reception for nine yards.
