Saquon Barkley had a Heisman-worthy first half in Penn State’s opener against Akron.
With a little over 30 seconds left in the half, Barkley had 115 yards and a touchdown as the Lions held a 28-0 advantage. But the star running back wanted to reach across the goal line one more time before hitting the locker room.
He sped past every Akron defender during a 30-yard sprint to the end zone:

Barkley rounded out the first half with 145 yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries. Yeah, that’s a 16.1 yards per carry average.
Penn State had a 35-0 lead on Akron at the half.
