There’s no denying Ki-Jana Carter had a fantastic season in 1994, and one memory stands out in his mind above all the others.
Carter was nearly unstoppable that season as he rushed for 1,539 yards, accumulated more than 1,600 yards from scrimmage, and scored 23 TDs on offense. He was an impressive wrecking crew as the Nittany Lions rolled to a perfect 12-0 record with a win in the Rose Bowl.
As memorable as the season was, Carter definitely has one memory that is his favorite. In a video shared by @PennStateOnBTN, Carter explains how rolling Ohio State 63-14 that season stands out a bit from the other games:
The 1994 @PennStateFball squad was one of the best @B1Gfootball teams of all time, and Ki-Jana Carter (@mastakey32) was the Nittany Lions’ workhorse RB.
And as a Columbus native, one of Carter’s favorite memories from that undefeated season was a Buckeye Beatdown: pic.twitter.com/6S2pKJ2HV2

Penn State would finish No. 2 in the final AP Poll that season behind Nebraska and Carter finished second in Heisman Trophy voting behind Colorado’s Rashaan Salaam. Still, there’s no denying Carter was an absolute beast with the Nittany Lions, and it sounds like he’ll always remember beating up on the Buckeyes.
