Prior to tipoff against B1G opponent Iowa on Thursday night, Purdue played a special video tribute honoring Tyler Trent at Mackey Arena.
Trent passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with bone cancer. His story inspired millions has he courageously and positively fought a life-threatening disease.
Both Purdue and Iowa are wearing special shirts on the bench tonight, black T-shirts that read #TYLERSTRONG with a gold ribbon and a bible verse. But before the two teams tipped off, a special video was played to honor Trent as he was an inspiration to so many.
