Purdue didn’t want to leave anything to chance.
With just 23 seconds left in Saturday’s game against Minnesota, it looked like the Gophers might have a chance to tie things up. But when Conor Rhoda dropped back to fire his final pass of the game, Boilermakers linebacker Ja’Whaun Bently came up with an interception and took it the other direction.
