The film Rudy is considered by many to be one of the best sports movies of all time. The true story of a walk-on football player working to be admitted to Notre Dame and eventually earn a spot on the football team is one that has inspired us since we were kids.
Apparently Rudy has a new goal now, though. Well, at least the actor who played Rudy.
To celebrate the start of the new football season, KFC released a football-theme commercial — actually it was Rudy-themed.
Rudy opts to trade in the shoulder pads and helmet for the white cotton suit and thick-framed glasses. That’s right, Rudy’s new dream is to one day be the new Colonel Sanders. Much like in the real-life story of Rudy, he accomplishes his goal.
