I miss Saquon Barkley already.
Yes, the star running back is still on a football field, but it’s just not the same, even though Barkley looks like he’s playing the exact same game.
Early in the fourth quarter of his first NFL regular season game, Barkley showed NFL fans what they had been missing out on if they hadn’t tuned in to see him on Saturdays.
On a 2nd-and-3, Barkley took a routine handoff, broke a few tackles and sprinted 68 yards to the end zone for the first touchdown of his professional career.

Yeah, he probably made the right decision to go pro.
Barkley had some nice runs through the preseason, but with so many players fighting for roster spots, it’s hard to gauge a player by his success in those matchups. The rookie out of Penn State proved Sunday that he’s the real deal.
I still wish he was playing on Saturdays, though.
