It all came down to the final play.
Iowa was leading No. 4 Penn State 19-15 with just four seconds remaining in the game. Coming out of the timeout, all eyes were on Saquon Barkley. That’s when Trace McSorley dropped back and hit Juwan Johnson as time expired to propel the Nittany Lions to a 21-19 win in Kinnick Stadium.

Ironically, that touchdown pass was the first of the night for McSorley. He finished the game completing 31-of-48 passes for 284 yards. Johnson had seven catches for 92 yards.
Penn State proved it has the clutch gene that every championship-caliber team possesses.
What a game the nation got to see in Iowa City.
