WATCH: Ty Law receives Pro Football Hall of Fame gold jacket

It’s an exciting week for former Michigan and NFL star Ty Law. His name will forever be remembered as one of the all-time football greats.

On Friday night, Law received his Pro Football Hall of Fame gold jacket, which will be accompanied by his induction on Saturday. He will be one of eight players who will carve their names in professional football history.

Below is the video of Law receiving his gold jacket.

Law will officially be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night, with the ceremony aired on ESPN and NFL Network at 7 p.m. ET.

Law finished his career in the NFL as a three-time Super Bowl champion and a five-time Pro Bowl selection. He registered 838 tackles, 53 interceptions and seven touchdowns in a 15-year career in the league.

Starting his career in New England, Law played from 1995-2004 with the Patriots before joining the New York Jets in 2005. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos.

Law was a first-round selection in the 1995 NFL Draft out of Michigan.
