“This is a real one.”
That’s what Urban Meyer uttered in the closing minutes of his Wednesday press conference as the Ohio State head coach previewed Saturday’s match-up against Penn State. He was referring to the Nittany Lions’ top-ranked defense and how precise and “methodical” the Buckeye offense needs to be this weekend.
But that was just one of the topics Meyer addressed on Wednesday, leading up to the biggest game of the season in the B1G. He also answered questions about J.T. Barrett, special teams play and alternate uniforms — because why not?
Meyer continued to refer to Saturday’s showdown between No. 2 Penn State and No. 6 Ohio State as one of the big ones, and the type of game in which “great players show up.” Meyer also commented earlier this week that beating the Nittany Lions would be all about revenge.
