The best moment from Week 1 came out of USC.
That’s because on Saturday, Jake Olson, a long-snapper who is blind, got to play in his first game as a college football player.
Following a touchdown with 3:13 remaining in the game, Olson was helped onto the field by his teammates as the Trojans lined up for an extra point. And when it was time for him to snap the ball, it was flawless. It was truly an incredible moment in college football.
Olson talked about his opportunity to get on the field after the game:

USC played Western Michigan in the season opener on Saturday, beating the Broncos 49-31.
Though there was plenty to talk about after the game in Southern California, Olson’s opportunity to play, and his perfect extra point snap, were absolutely the highlights.
