WATCH: Washington State coach Mike Leach gives harsh take on balanced offenses

Mike Leach, currently the head coach at Washington State, loves to throw the football.
If he could, realistically, he’d probably throw it 100 percent of the time. That’s not an exaggeration. So today, when he closed his comments about a question and balanced offenses with the wishbone — an offense built on running the football — it was interesting.
It was also interesting how he bashed what balanced offenses are. He called 50 percent run and 50 percent pass offenses, “50 percent stupid.”

Leach also called people that think they’re running a balanced offense “delusional.”
Hey, whatever works best, right? If an offense works, it just works. Regardless of the personnel and how it works.
