The Michigan Wolverines have seemly exorcised their demons.

First, Michigan defeated arch-rival Ohio State to head to the Big Ten Championship Game. Saturday, the Wolverines beat Iowa and to claim a conference title. Next, Jim Harbaugh and his team will be headed to the College Football Playoff.

No one thought it was possible that Michigan would be this good, but the players and coaches had faith in one another and they knew this was possible according to Wolverines defensive end Aidan Hutchinson.

“We defied all expectations…I knew we had something special the way we built the team,” Hutchinson said after the game.

Michigan closed out the season with a 12-1 record and a B1G title. It now catapults the Wolverines into the national championship conversation, not a bad discussion to be in considering the early-season expectations.
