‘We expect to beat them every year’: Justin Fields says Ohio State’s only focus is beating ‘The Team Up North’

Boasting a 5-0 record, the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes are set to welcome their archrival, the Michigan Wolverines, to Columbus on Saturday.
Having won 15 of the last 16 in arguably the sport’s best rivalry, including eight-straight, junior quarterback Justin Fields commented on this matchup while addressing the media on Tuesday.

Fields says they prepare for Michigan 365 days a year. They don't do anything different this week for The Game. They're always preparing for this game.

Transferring to Ohio State in January 2019 after spending his freshman year in Athens with the Georgia Bulldogs, Fields led the Buckeyes to a 56-27 victory over Michigan last November, completing 14-of-25 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 25 yards on the ground.
Finishing third in Heisman Trophy voting as a sophomore, he has been just as good in 2020, connecting on 107-of-137 pass attempts (78.1 percent) for 1,407 yards, 15 scores and just three interceptions.
Showcasing his dual-threat abilities, Fields has chipped in 239 yards and five rushing touchdowns.
Saturday’s clash is scheduled to kick at 12 p.m. ET on FOX with the network’s top broadcast team, Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt, and “The All-American Girl” Jenny Taft, on the call.
