Upset Saturday has officially visited the college football calendar.
Eight teams in the top 25 tumbled this weekend, including four teams in the top 10. All the drama and excitement has resulted in a serious shakeup in the latest rankings.
Michigan State was one of the many surprising winners this weekend, knocking off Penn State 21-17 in Happy Valley. Michigan didn’t record an upset victory, but it did get an impressive top 25 win, defeating Wisconsin 38-13 in Ann Arbor.
The other top 10 teams to experience losses this weekend included: Georgia (No. 2), West Virginia (No. 6) and Washington (No. 7).
