Miracles do happen this late in the season.
Last year, Pitt was a three-score underdog at Clemson. We all remember how that turned out. Two weeks ago, Iowa was a three-score dog at home against Ohio State. We all know how that turned out.
This Saturday, Michigan State and Penn State will be banking on another massive underdog to pull through. But for the sake of their health, hopefully they aren’t holding their breath on Illinois overcoming a 41-point spread against Ohio State. If they are, they’ll likely pass out and they’ll have to deal with the reality that their B1G titles hopes are gone.
So here’s hoping nobody suffers from a lack of oxygen this weekend.
