Week 3 B1G Picks: Which teams pick up statement wins?

Let’s be honest, the first two weeks weren’t that tough.

Fellow Saturday Tradition writer Dustin Schutte and I were a combined 44-10 to start the season. Not picking against the spread in non-conference play often yields that kind of result.

Week 3 could be a different story.

As you’ve seen, there are smaller spreads for B1G teams than the first two weeks. Much of that is because finally, we have some headliner games. In the B1G’s only headliner game so far, Wisconsin won. Dustin and I, of course, got that one wrong.

This week, we got three chances to pick a headliner game right. And maybe we’ll sweep the other eight.

But don’t count on it.
