Somehow, we’re already talking about the fifth week of the college football season. It’s actually the sixth week for some of the overachieving teams that played on the last weekend of August.
What that means is that we’re finally talking about only conference games. Non-conference play is over, which means say goodbye to cupcakes and lopsided matchups, right?
Well, not so much.
This week, four of the six B1G games of at least 13 points. All signs point to this being a blowout-heavy week with many more worried about whether or their team will cover a massive spread.
In other words, get ready for a bunch of nail-biters in Week 5.
