Week 7 B1G picks against the spread

So remember last week when I said I hoped that Vegas would be wrong and we could get some close games?

For the most part, it wasn’t.

All but one favorite covered by double digits. With only one single-digit spread last week, only one B1G game was decided by single digits. It was, however, double-digit dog Michigan State who accomplished that feat.

This week, according to Westgate Superbook, should be a different one in the B1G. Why? Well, four of the six B1G games have one-score spreads. The two double-digit dogs are Nebraska and Purdue, both of whom haven’t been given much of a shot to hang around with College Football Playoff contenders.

Can either one of them muddy the Playoff waters? Or will they be the only laughers we see in Week 7?

You came to the right place to find out. After all, we are right about 55 percent of the time.

LAST WEEK

  • Garrett Kroeger: 5-1
  • Dustin Schutte: 4-2
  • Connor O’Gara: 3-3

SEASON

  • Schutte: 32-23
  • O’Gara: 31-24
  • Kroeger: 29-26
