The Hilltoppers will be looking to become bowl eligible in Saturday’s game against Rice, and spiffy new helmets sure can’t hurt. Western Kentucky was responsible for the very first score of the 2022 college football season in their 38-27 win over Austin Peay in Week 0. The Hilltoppers continued that momentum for big wins against schools like TIU and Charlotte, and are 5-3 on the season.
Western Kentucky and Rice will kick off at 2:00pm EST on Saturday.
