It was an ugly Saturday for Rutgers on their home turf.

The Scarlet Knights were pummelled by Wisconsin, 52-3 before a 40,000+ crowd at SHI Stadium. But Rutgers coach Greg Schiano is staying the course .

If it could go wrong for the Scarlet Knights, it did.

Already without defensive end Mike Tverdov and wide receiver Brandon Sanders, Rutgers lost quarterback Noah Vedral, wide receiver Aron Cruickshank and linebacker Olakunle Futakasi to injuries during the game.

The Scarlet Knights were only able to muster 207 yards on offense and committed four turnovers against the Badgers. On the other end of the ball, Wisconsin finished with 579 yards of total offense, running for 305 yards as a team.

It was no easy task for Rutgers, with the Badgers coming into the game riding a four-game winning streak and one of the hottest teams in the B1G.

The 4-5 (1-5 B1G) Scarlet Knights hit the road to take on Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 13 with an 11:00 AM kickoff scheduled.
