What Indiana head coach Tom Allen said during his Wednesday press conference
Indiana was wronged, the Hoosiers being shut out of the New Year’s Day bowls despite a 6-1 record and finishing the regular season at No. 7 in the AP Top 25 Poll. For head coach Tom Allen, that isn’t a concern at this point.
Instead, he is focused on the Outback Bowl where Indiana will face Ole Miss on Jan. 2.
Allen provided an update on his team and all the bowl game chatter, including an update on injured quarterback Michael Penix, his connection to Ole Miss (he spent three years there as linebackers coach and coaching special teams)
Allen says Michael Penix's next step is "just pure rehab" after having surgery recently.
"He know he has to really attack these rehabs right now." #iufb
