What Jeff Brohm said following Purdue’s first spring practice of 2022

Spring ball is underway in West Lafayette.
There’s a lot of momentum swirling around Purdue’s program, fresh off a 9-4 campaign and a Music City Bowl victory, marking the best year of the Jeff Brohm era. But life doesn’t get any easier in the B1G.
Purdue enters spring having lost multiple key contributors from last year’s squad, including All-B1G defensive end George Karlaftis and All-B1G receiver David Bell. The Boilermakers also suffered some staff changes, the biggest being the loss of defensive coordinator Brad Lambert.
On Monday, Purdue got spring ball started with the first practice of the year. Afterward, Brohm met with reporters to assess the good and the bad from Day 1.
Brohm says he liked how well prepared players were for the day. He also talked about individual players, where the team can make big improvements and what the future looks like with a new staff.
