If you thought it couldn’t get worse for Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh after the loss to Indiana or the loss to Michigan State, then think again.
Harbaugh’s team had barely stepped on the field and felt the wrath of Wisconsin as the Badgers forced turnovers on each of the Wolverines’ first two drives. It got even worse from there as Michigan sunk even further deeper with a 42-11 loss on Saturday in Ann Arbor.
The loss adds to a growing list of how historically bad this season is going for Harbaugh and the Wolverines. With every loss comes mounting pressure on Harbaugh all while meeting with the media.

Harbaugh
Not in a good place as a football team & that’s on me. Everybody has to do better & I am at front of the line— DetroitSportsPodcast (@DetroitPodcast) November 15, 2020
Jim Harbaugh: "We were thoroughly beaten in every phase, really did not do anything well. Did not play good, did not coach good. Not in a good place with the execution, not in a good place with adjusting. … Not a good place as a football team right now, and that falls on me."

Asked to self-evaluate his own performance: Harbaugh says that the coaching of players and making them understand what to do needs to improve so they can go for it. “There seems to be hesitation and some confusion. Lack of communication on both sides of the ball.”

Michigan quarterback Joe Milton did not help set the tone at all for the Wolverines as he threw two interceptions on his first two drives of the night. He was eventually benched for Cade McNamara after Milton went 9-for-19 with 98 yards and two interceptions.
Jim Harbaugh on Joe Milton's job security: "We're going to evaluate all things."

At 1-3, there’s going to be a lot of angry reaction in Ann Arbor. It appears that Harbaugh understands the gravity of this situation.
Harbaugh: “nothing right now to say an acceptable job is being done by players and coaches”

"As bad as it is, it can be worse."

Welp. I don’t think the folks in Ann Arbor want to see what worse is at this point.
