Michigan posted an important 20-17 win over Northwestern on Saturday to improve to 2-0 in the B1G and 4-1 overall. The Wolverines had to overcome a 17-0 deficit in the first half to get the win.

Shea Patterson showed off his clutch gene on a game-winning drive late in the contest. Running back Karan Higdon eclipsed the 100-yard mark again, this time on 30 carries. The defense, after the rocky start, played lights out football.

The win for the Wolverines keeps them in the hunt for the B1G East and the College Football Playoff race. Here’s what Jim Harbaugh had to say after the big win.
