What Mike Locksley said after Maryland’s win over Penn State

The Maryland Terrapins got to 2-1 overall and in the Big Ten today after their 35-19 shellacking of the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Things looked bleak to start the season for the Terps after they lost 43-3 to Northwestern, but they’ve turned it around in a big way since then.
After jumping out to a 28-7 lead over Penn State, Maryland didn’t look back one bit.
With the Terps feeling good about themselves, here’s what head coach Mike Locksley had to say after the game.

Locksley tempers any advanced expectations about the Maryland program.
He says the Terps are still in their growth phase.

Locksley says the team still has things to work on in terms of finishing games the right way.
He says Maryland should be more aggressive (not chew clock) and learn how to stay disciplined for a full game.

Locksley says he knows the history between Maryland and Penn State, but he had to hold the 'fan' within himself.

Maryland defensive lineman Lawtez Rogers didn't play today because he found out this morning that his mom passed away. Locksley is emotional talking about it.
