What Nebraska head coach Scott Frost said about restructured contract, staff changes

Nebraska is putting its faith in coach Scott Frost to turn the program around despite a lack of success during his tenure so far. Frost will remain as Nebraska’s coach going into the 2022 season, along with a number of staff changes.
Frost addressed the media during Nebraska’s bye week and discussed his restructured contract and the staff changes which includes for running back, quarterback, offensive line, and wide receiver positions.

Scott Frost says they could potentially hire a special teams coordinator as one of the full time assistants, but notes this season has been a specialists issue and not special teams coaching.

Frost says the team is hurting. Mentions the offensive line specifically.

Nebraska coach Scott Frost says the players are “hurting,” especially on the offensive side after losing most of their coaching staff. “I’m hurting,” Frost said.
But “the kids are resilient. They’ll be OK,” Frost says.

Nebraska football is 3-7 overall, seventh place in the B1G West, and will return to action on Nov. 20 at Wisconsin.
