The Boilermakers have their first true test of the season this weekend as No. 12 Notre Dame will be their opponent.
The Fighting Irish have struggled in their first 2 weeks despite being 2-0 as they barely held off Toledo in Week 2 (32-29). They also were taken to overtime by Florida State in Week 1 and barely survived that game as well.
As for Purdue, they’ve won both of their first 2 games by at least 2 scores. In week 1, they defeated Oregon State 30-21 and this past weekend, they beat UConn 49-0.
With this massive game on the horizon, Jeff Brohm spoke to the media on Monday and gave some updates on where the team stands:
Brohm remains hopeful on Sampson James getting waiver. Still waiting.
