Spring ball has arrived in Lincoln.
On Monday, Nebraska started spring practice, focused on bouncing back after a disappointing 3-9 campaign in 2021. A lot of change has taken place with the Huskers staff, providing fans with a lot of optimism during the offseason.
Though spring practice is just getting started, head coach Scott Frost met with reporters to provide an early preview of what he’s seen and what he’s expecting over the next month.
Frost talked about the offensive changes, what he sees along the offensive line, injury updates and plenty more. Here’s what the fifth-year leader of the Huskers had to say on Monday:
Nebraska QB Casey Thompson will not be limited due to a thumb injury he sustained last fall. NU coach Scott Frost said Thompson continues to work with the training staff to get the thumb loose.
