Nebraska had a lot to think over during its bye week.

The Cornhuskers are coming off another one-possession loss, this time to a shorthanded Minnesota team 30-23 in Week 7. Now, they’re gearing up for Purdue this week.

Quarterback Adrian Martinez continues to be a threat in the B1G. He ranks 12th in the league in rushing yards with 54.1 yards per game and is 3rd in passing yards per game with 249.4. He can beat teams in multiple ways, which is why Nebraska’s been able to keep with other B1G opponents.

Cornhuskers coach Scott Frost met the media Monday afternoon ahead of his team’s game against Purdue. He talked about the bye week, hitting the “mad button” in Wednesday’s practice on Wednesday and provided an update on injured linebacker Deontai Williams, who’s tied for the league lead with 4 interceptions.
