Trayce Jackson-Davis became the first B1G player in over a decade to lose after recording 9 blocks in a game on Saturday. Indiana lost to Kansas by a score of 84-62 on the road.

In the last decade, no B1G player’s team had lost when they recorded at least 9 blocks in a game. The last time something like this happened in the past 11 years to a Power 5 team was in 2020 with former Mississippi State player Abdul Ado against Auburn.

Jackson-Davis finished the game with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist. Race Thompson and Jalen Hood-Schifino contributed in scoring as well with 11 points each. Jackson-Davis is still averaging 16.8 points per game this season despite the disappointing loss to the Jayhawks.

The loss now moves Indiana to 8-3 on the year. The Hoosiers have now lost to Rutgers, Arizona, and Kansas.

A tune-up game is up next for the Hoosiers against Elon on Tuesday. Tipoff will be at 7 p.m. ET on BTN from Assembly Hall.
