Northwestern’s cornerback situation got a little more complex during Saturday’s game against Illinois State.

Senior Matt Harris left in the fourth quarter after sustaining an injury in the contest. He was ruled out for the remainder of the afternoon.

This is a big loss for the Northwestern defense, which also lost Keith Watkins II in the offseason.

Harris started in 11 games for the Wildcats last season and recorded a team-high four interceptions.
