The Red River Rivalry takes place every year at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX.

No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 21  Texas are in an offensive shootout early in the 1st quarter.

For all of the oddities and weird food that Texans have found to fry up, this may be one of the most bizarre events to happen in recent memory at the Cotton Bowl.

A fox was caught running on the field during the game.

You can catch the video here:

Oklahoma is 5-0 this season and 2-0 in Big 12 play; they are the No. 6 team in the country. They have had a lot of close calls against inferior opponents,  Tulane, Nebraska, West Virginia and  Kansas State

Texas is 4-1 on the year and 2-0 in the Big 12; they are the No. 21 team in the country. Its only loss is to No. 13 Arkansas.

Right now Texas is up on Oklahoma 21-7 in the first quarter on ABC.
