Wisconsin basketball unveils jersey numbers for class of 2022, including incoming transfers

Wisconsin basketball is regrouping for the 2022-23 season after a couple of key departures in Brad Davison and Johnny Davis.
On Wednesday, Wisconsin officially announced jersey numbers for 3 players in Connor Essegian, Max Klesmit and Kamari McGee. Essegian was the only high school prospect to sign with Wisconsin via the 2022 recruiting class while Klesmit and McGee joined Wisconsin via transfer.
The Badgers revealed Essegian will wear No. 3, McGee will wear No. 4 and Klesmit will wear No. 11.

Essegian committed to Wisconsin in November as a 3-star prospect for the 2022 recruiting class and as the No. 10 prospect out of Indiana for the cycle.
An in-state prospect, McGee spent his freshman season at Green Bay. He appeared in 30 games (21 starts) while averaging 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 39% from the field.
Klesmit made 50 appearances for Wofford over 2 seasons, including starting 31 games last season. He averaged 14.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals while shooting 45% from the field.
