Wisconsin safety D’Cota Dixon has raked in some national recognition after a big outing against Northwestern on Saturday.
Sunday, it was announced that Dixon was the Walter Camp National FBS Player of the Week, along with Stanford’s Bryce Love. Dixon was awarded the honor after recording 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks against the Wildcats, including a game-clinching safety on Clayton Thorson.

The Badgers defeated Northwestern 33-24 to maintain an undefeated record and start B1G play with a win.
After Saturday’s performance, Dixon is now Wisconsin’s leading tackler, recording 27 stops through the first four games of the season. He’s also tallied 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble.
Wisconsin travels to Nebraska next Saturday for an evening clash against the Huskers.
