One Wisconsin defender has made the decision to declare for the 2021 NFL Draft, and it is likely he is forgoing the rest of Wisconsin’s season though that is not explicitly indicated.

Wildgoose made his announcement on Friday morning:

The 2020 season has definitely been an odd one for the Badgers. Wisconsin battled a COVID-19 outbreak early in the season with two games canceled right out of the gate. The Badgers also will not get to play against rival Minnesota this weekend due to issues within the Gophers program.

As it currently stands, Wisconsin only has two regular-season games remaining following by a game against a crossover division opponent in Week 9. The Badgers have only played in three games this season.

It was also unclear if Wildgoose would be able to play against Minnesota due to an injury he sustained against Northwestern.

Best of luck to Wildgoose as he begins to make his transition to the next level.
