Wisconsin edges Minnesota, Illinois for 2019 WR

The Badgers picked up a win on the recruiting trail Saturday.
Though Wisconsin will not be in Indianapolis for the B1G Championship Game, the Badgers still recorded a victory during the weekend. Cameron Phillips, a 3-star WR out of Florida, made the announcement that he is committed to the Badgers.
In a note shared on Twitter, Phillips thanked those closest to him while declaring he is “proud” to call himself a Badger:
Listed at 6-foot-1, Phillips is ranked as the No. 75 WR nationally for 2019 on the 247 Sports Composite Rankings. He picked the Badgers over offers from Minnesota, Illinois, and Kentucky among others.
