Wisconsin added a bit of a scoring punch to its backcourt on Wednesday.
Former Wyoming guard Noah Reynolds announced on social media he has committed to the Badgers. After 2 seasons playing for the Cowboys, Reynolds will have 2 years of eligibility with Wisconsin.

A 6-foot-3 guard from Peoria, Illinois, Reynolds played in 42 combined games over his 2 years with Wyoming (with 10 starts). As a freshman, his role was limited to just 11 minutes a night, but he showed an ability to knock down the 3 ball with consistency.
This past season, he stepped into more of a featured role and really broke out in December. He started 10 times in 19 games before being shut down in early February after suffering what was his third concussion in 6 months.
From Nov. 30 through Dec. 21, Reynolds reached 20 points in 5 consecutive games for the Cowboys — including a 30-point performance on Dec. 6. He reached double figures in 12 of 19 games and closed out the year with averages of 14.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 24.9 minutes a night while shooting 48% from the field and 33% from 3.
For his career, Reynolds is a 19-points-per-40 scorer. After Wisconsin lost guard Johnny Davis to the transfer portal, Reynolds addition should provide coach Greg Gard with a major spark plug to add to his rotation.
Derek Peterson does a bit of everything, not unlike Taysom Hill. He has covered Oklahoma, Nebraska, the Pac-12, and now delivers CFB-wide content.
