Wisconsin LB Jordan Turner is back with the Badgers.

Turner was suspended indefinitely on June 30 after a citation for OWI (operating while intoxicated) and other traffic violations. Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the development on Monday via Twitter.

Turner tweeted a statement of apology in June:

“My parents raised me to do the right things in life and unfortunately this time, I didn’t. I made the wrong decision. I’m very disappointed and embarrassed and I want to personally apologize to my parents, my teammates, my coaches, the fans and the University of Wisconsin.

“I take this matter very seriously and I vow to learn from this and be a better man going forward.”

Turner is entering his 4th season in Madison. After redshirting in 2020, Turner appeared in 19 games over the past 2 seasons.

In 2022, Turner recorded 68 tackles, including 5 for loss and 2 sacks, along with 2 passes defended, 1 interception and 1 forced fumble. Turner was an All-B1G honorable mention and the MVP of the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
